Venture Christian Church
What kind of church is VCC? The short answer is that our congregation generally reflects the population of the greater South Bay. Since we are a non-denominational church, our people come from a wide variety of religious backgrounds—from traditional and liturgical to modern and expressive. Our church family includes all ages, with a high proportion of children, teenagers, middle-aged parents and senior adults. We represent various races and cultural groups, in a mix that’s very similar to the demographics of this region.
Our congregation includes a number of high-tech personnel (surprise!), but also consists of teachers, homemakers, students, entrepreneurs, law enforcement and emergency personnel, and a balance between blue-collar and white-collar workers. In fact, the word “balance” defines us best of all. Our teaching is strictly biblical, not diluted, yet we’re highly committed to works of service in our community. Our worship is expressive but not excessive.
We offer ministries to edify long-time believers, along with many programs for those who need help in overcoming life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups. VCC cares deeply, not only about the people who attend here, but also those who live in nearby neighborhoods. We also care about those who live halfway across the world, as evidence by our support of dozens of missionaries and outreach organizations.
